Tech-Triathlon
2023
Tech-Triathlon 2023 was where it all began — Sri Lanka's first-ever competition to bring engineering, design and AI together under one title. University teams from across the island took on the inaugural challenge, carrying a single product idea through three phases: a designathon, a hackathon and a datathon.
After hundreds of submissions, eight finalist teams took the stage at the Grand Finale and Awards Ceremony at Hatch, Colombo, presenting their solutions to a panel of Rootcode judges. Team Chimera was crowned the first-ever champions, with Team BrainLeftException as first runners-up and Team Ctrl Alt Elite as second runners-up.
